St Peter's is a hidden surprise. Set back off the busy North Walsham Road, this rural gem is situated in the middle of an ancient common. The Church is set in a Conservation area and sections have been left specifically to preserve the wildlife. It might look a little overgrown at times but is very much loved by the regular worshippers and villagers alike.
The Parish of Crostwick would be easy to miss, as almost all 21 houses lie back off the road concealed by the common. The most visible habitations are the White Horse Pub, The Old Rectory Hotel and St Mary's Residential Home.
Crostwick uses the Book of Common Prayer for all its worship and this attracts worshippers from outside the Parish albeit of the older generation.
The residents of St Mary's have a fortnightly service inluding Holy Communion once a month.
St Peter's Church is 15th Century and the beautiful tower was recently restored.

The windows were badly damaged a few years ago after some vandalism but were restored and will now be protected for future generations.
