2009

We aim to be an
Eco-Congregation by the end of 2009

Part of our mission is to strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth.

We re-affirm a biblical vision of creation and of God as creator, redeemer and renewer. We accept the responsibility God has given us to care for, conserve, and replenish God’s earth. We recognise our independence with the rest of creation.

We wish to play our part in working for a sustainable society in a sustainable world.

Environmental Targets 2009/11
• Celebrate creation through worship, prayer, arts and music
• Carry out an Environmental Audit in each Church
• Hold regular events which have an environmental theme
• Achieve Eco-Congregation status
• Design a new eco-friendly building for children & community use
